Oh Miss Sharon, I relate with this. Five years ago I was begging the Lord to take me home. I've never hurt so deeply, and never before has my faith been tested to the breaking point. But I learned so much about being God's daughter during those two years than in any other point of my life. I'll be lifting you up, and I pray that God will cradle your heart and that you'll be comforted in a way that only He can give. And although you don't know me from Adam's housecat, I feel like we're kindred spirits through your teaching seminars and books, and I know you're my sister in Christ. You have an amazing gift. He doesn't let anything happen that doesn't ultimately bring Him glory. God has a plan and He loves you so much. Hang in there!
Oh, Amy, Thank you for your beautiful post. I'm so sorry for the dark road you had to walk years ago... but THANK YOU for giving comfort and hope to others (like me!) from that experience. I truly treasure the compassion and wisdom of those who "get it." You are indeed a Jesus-sister... and I'm glad my stories and teaching have connected with your heart. BLESSINGS!
