Over the weekend, I saw a great Christmas decorating idea that appealed to the "book person" in me, and decided to copy and adapt it.
Create simple jackets for books of various sizes, printing "titles" on 8 1/2 x 11 paper or cardstock.
Stack, and tie with a decorative ribbon.
I chose John 1:14, because as a writer, I love that one of Jesus' titles is "The Word."
May the Incarnate Word reveal His glory to you this Christmas season!

Beautiful! I love simple, classy things––especially when they point to the real Reason for the season.
Great idea, Sharon! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Deb and Maureen! When I saw this idea, they used words from Christmas poems or songs...but I liked the idea of using Scripture....but any special hymn or message could work.
What a neat idea, Sharon. Those would make wonderful table centerpieces for our ladies Christmas dinner next year. Now, if I can just remember it. :)
Simply stunning. Thanks Sharon!
